David perper

Hazzan David Perper was invested as Hazzan in 1996 from the School of Sacred Music of Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion, in New York City, and has served such american reform synagogues as Temple Sinai in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Temple Ohev Sholom in Harrisburg and Temple Judea in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Hazzan Perper currently serves Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah, NJ. His CD recordings include "Yamim Noraim--Days of Awe", conducted by Dr. Samuel Adler. David has performed in Europe, the United States and Israel. David's opera credits include the Natchez Music Festival ("Turandot", "The Impressario"), New York Opera Productions ("Don Giovanni", "Die Zauberflote", "Cosi fan tutte"), The New York Opera Forum ("Falstaff", "Der Rosenkavalier") and dell'Arte Opera Ensemble ("Don Pasquale", "Rigoletto", "Manon", "Faust"). David has been a featured guest soloist at The Church of the Holy Trinity, NYC, and appeared in monthly operas-in-concert at the Donnell Library, NYC. David's other credits include Alfred in "Die Fledermaus" with Crystal Opera, scenes from "Don Pasquale" and "Orpheus in the Undeworld" with Ridge Light Opera, in Madison, New Jersey, and Thomas Beveridge's "Yizkor Requiem" with the Greenwich Choral Society.
